By cultivating seaweeds in tanks, there are no negative impacts to wild seaweed populations. Monterey Bay’s seaweeds are farmed using a land-based, sea water recirculating system. Monterey Bay Seaweeds are grown in land-based tanks, free of any chemicals or additives.
